Who is a Leader?

Who leads who?
Just four short years ago Barack Hussein Obama II was an Illinois State Senator (he didn’t become a US Senator until January 2005) who was chosen to give the keynote speech at the 2004 Democrat Convention. Was he chosen to give this speech because he was a leader¸ I say no. He was chosen for his oratorical skills and the ability to excite the masses. This is what community organizers do.
Now he is the presumed candidate for United States President – who really chose him to run, who is behind his campaign? I believe they are leading him, packaging him, and changing his positions as the polls turn.

In America, anyone can become president. That’s the problem
George Carlin

John McCain on the other hand, has led men while in the military, and has been a leader in the Senate. John has the ability to choose people to advise him, not to lead him. He can make decisions based on facts not polls. He has been tested – 5-1/2 years in a North Vietnam prison is a test beyond comprehension. He is a Disabled American Veteran, but does he dwell (or even mention) on it, no. He goes on and on, like the Energizer Bunny.
He has chosen to run for Presidency of the United States again, because he is a leader, not a follower. A maverick from his days in school, the military, the United States Congress , and yes even in his campaign. He doesn’t try to please all the people, all the time.
My vote’s for a leader, John McCain.
